Quit Together is a new hospital-based stop smoking service for patients which provides help and tools to help everyone remain smokefree while in hospital and beyond and to support a truly smokefree NHS.

As part of Quit Together, local stop smoking services are supporting hospital staff to remain smokefree in work, with focussed support and nicotine replacement therapy.

YOURhealth are delighted to be providing support for staff based at either Bridlington, Goole or Castle Hill Hospitals (and any hospital staff with an East Riding postcode).

Quit Together in Hospitals

Quit Together is a new hospital based stop smoking service for inpatients to provide support and tools to help you remain smokefree during your stay in hospital for patients attending Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and York and Scarborough NHS Foundation Trust

This service will start in some wards from August 2022, rolling out across the hospital sites fully by mid 2023.

You will be asked if you smoke during admission, and if so, offered nicotine replacement therapy such as medication, vapes or patches to keep you as comfortable as possible.

You will then be referred to an on-site expert stop smoking advisor who will provide support throughout the duration of your stay in hospital, with continued care available following discharge.
